Wang Jingjing (pen name: Wang Jing) was born in Xi’an, China. From an early age, she demonstrated a strong passion for painting and received systematic and professional artistic training. In 2004, she graduated from the Affiliated High School of the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts. In 2005, she went to France for further studies, focusing on color and visual arts.

In 2015, she was admitted to the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts to pursue a master’s degree in Chinese landscape painting under the guidance of renowned landscape painting professor Liu Dan. After graduating in 2018, she continued her studies with Li Min, Vice Chairman of the Xi’an Artists Association and a distinguished meticulous flower-and-bird painter, further strengthening her foundation in meticulous painting techniques, color application, and artistic philosophy.

In 2024, she held her first solo exhibition, The Power of Protection — Blue Lotus Contemporary Art Exhibition, in Xi’an, presenting 36 core works centered around the theme of the blue lotus. Through vivid brushwork and profound artistic conception, these works reflect her contemplation on the essence of life and the world.

She is currently a member of the China Artists Association, a member of the Shaanxi Artists Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the Xi’an Artists Association, specially appointed painter of the Xi’an Chinese Painting Academy, committee member of the Lacquer Painting Art Committee of the Xi’an Artists Association, and Executive Director of the Xi’an Chinese Painting Society.


Collaborative Exhibition

From December 24, 2024 to January 6, 2025, 5 Color Arts Gallery and Jing’an Temple  (Shanghai, CHINA) jointly presented Dream of the Lotus at Jing’an — a New Year crossover art exhibition featuring the Blue Lotus series. The exhibition explored themes of spirituality, protection, and inner peace through contemporary artistic expression.
